Charitable Golf Open

Join us on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Butler Country Club as St. Barnabas hosts the 24th annual Charitable Golf Open. Golf enthusiasts, regardless of skill level, are able to choose a morning or afternoon field, enjoy a great day on the course, as well as fine food and loads of fun at the clubhouse.

The St. Barnabas Charitable Golf Open is a great way to spend the day with old friends, meet new people or entertain a special client. For more information call St. Barnabas Charities at (724) 444-5521 or email St. Barnabas Charities.

To sign up for the St. Barnabas Charitable Golf Open as a golfer, sponsor, volunteer or to donate a prize, complete the online registration form.

A continental breakfast and registration period will begin the day's events at 7 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 7:45 a.m. Golfers will be served lunch on the country club's patio as they return and will also have an opportunity to browse silent auction items. The cost for the morning field is $375.

The afternoon field begins with registration at 10:30 a.m., followed by lunch on the patio. The shotgun start is 12:45 p.m. Cost for the afternoon field, including dinner, is $375. A cocktail hour and awards dinner will follow the afternoon of golf.

Proceeds from the St. Barnabas Charitable Golf Open help pay for high quality, compassionate care for the chronically ill and disabled at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas and The Arbors at St. Barnabas who would otherwise be unable to afford care. In 2010, the St. Barnabas free care fund provided more than $4.7 million.

Can't golf, but still want to help? There are other ways to help the patients at St. Barnabas if you would prefer not to step onto the greens!

Be a sponsor - The St. Barnabas Charitable Golf Open provides an excellent opportunity to promote your business to a select audience. Whether or not you attend the event, your company name will be there, in front of corporate and community leaders. Your business can sponsor a select hole on the course, be a title sponsor or co-sponsor, sponsor player lunches and dinners, golf carts or beverages on the course.

Donate A Prize - Drawings and auctions after dinner provide some of the best surprises and memories of the day. Donate sports memorabilia, tickets to sporting events, or weekend getaways.

Volunteer - St. Barnabas relies on an enthusiastic team of volunteers from its auxiliary and the local community to make each tournament a success. It's a fun way for family, friends or groups to make a difference in the lives of St. Barnabas patients.
