Pure Gold to Perform to Kean Theatre July 22

Gibsonia, Pa. - July 6, 2006 - Tickets are still available to the Pure Gold performance on Saturday, July 22 at the Kean Theatre, 5847 Meridian Road. The backstage bar and box office open at 7 p.m., the show starts at 8 p.m. Proceeds benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund.
Serving up songs from the good old days, Pure Gold's show is fun-filled and energetic - one that is sure to get the audience out of their seats and dancing to the beat of classic favorites from the 1950s, '60s and '70s. This talented act features fantastic four-part harmony and an exceptional blend of blues, doo-wop, R&B, standards and original material that highlights each member's unique dynamic vocals and instrumentation.
Pure Gold is performing at the Kean for the fourth straight year. Having performed with more than 100 major acts, including Little Richard, The Beach Boys, The Temptations and The Four Tops, Pure Gold is well-known in the Pittsburgh region and beyond. This is the band's triumphant return to the Kean Theatre; they played to a standing-room-only audience for the past three years. With 350 seats, the Kean Theatre's intimate setting guarantees each audience member an intimate view of the performance.
