On August 2, 2014 the most exciting place to be is at the 23rd Annual St. Barnabas 5K Run/Walk. Kawneer is the Signature Sponsor.

Serious runners, morning walkers and wheelchair competitors – there is something for everyone and every age – a great course, live music, plenty of prizes and lots of free food at a fabulous post-race party that’s rated the best in the ‘Burgh. Participants will enjoy beer, soda, pizza, wings and lots of other goodies! Join your friends and neighbors for the fun!

Team Competition Rules

  • Any business, company, or group can form a team.
  • 3-5 per team including one female.
  • Team scored based upon top three times.
  • Medals to top three teams.
  • Patriot Team: exclusively U.S. Military, Veterans and First Responders.
  • All team entries must be submitted together with payment.
  • Team entry deadline is July 30.

Start Line / Finish Line

St. Barnabas Medical Center 5K starts near The Washington Place at St. Barnabas and ends at St. Barnabas Medical Center, both on Meridian Road within walking distance of each other.

Free Care Fund
Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund, which has provided more than $6 million to needy patients at St. Barnabas Nursing Home, Valencia Woods at St. Barnabas and The Arbors at St. Barnabas who can not afford their care.
